Boo~ Someone beat my fastest time for the word search game. I'm not even in the 2nd place either -_-". That means no Parker pen for me T.T. The two girls who're leading now are pretty good, though. Kudos to the both of them *claps*. Basically, the music festival ended on a silent note. Not too hyped as we all expected. What's more, the AUP Society were celebrating St. Patrick's Day yesterday. More people are involved with it instead. Nevertheless, it was a good try for Music Club to organise such an event. Hopefully things will work out better in the future.

The TVfXQ Malaysian FC gathering which kept me anticipated for the past 2 weeks turned out to be pretty interesting. It's still not the best gathering by far cuz it was kinda disorganised. The venue wasn't sufficient to accomodate hundreds of members. Imagine having a party with 100 people in McDonalds, Section 14. Despite the mess, it was fun to meet so many people who are equally enthusiastic about the Dong Bangs. And I met a new friend there as well ^^.

Enya came for the later part of the gathering after rushing from college. Meanwhile, Fatimah who was so eager to go couldn't make it at the last minute. It could've been more fun if she was there cuz besides Enya, I felt awkward as I dunno any of the members. The rest of the girls seemed to be talking among their own friends, unwilling to get acquainted with newbies like me -_-". And they don't look inviting enough for me to approach them & start introducing myself. They'd probably give me a stare as if something's stuck on my face. It's kinda sad, really...

The least you could expect from a FC gathering is to bump into your ex-schoolmate. *nods* I bumped into saw my ex-schoolmate cum junior from high school. She was my junior in Girl Guides back then. At first, I could barely recognised her cuz she had longer hair than before. I didn't dare to chat up with her cuz she wouldn't recognise me anyways. Besides, we weren't very close back then. *shrugs*

Alrite, enough talking about ppl at the gathering. New members get to receive freebies for joining the club. This is what I collected that day: FC t-shirt, stickers & a mass printed autographed poster. Honestly, the poster is beautiful. Though the autographs doesn't feel special anymore since it's mass printed, it's better than nothing rite XD. I'll most likely post up piccies in the next post. Now if I'm lucky enough to win an autographed poster from Japan for the new album purchase, I can die anytime. Opps, joking but I'll be sooooooo happy ^^. Apparently HMV is running a campaign rite now. I hope I got my Japanese right about the campaign. No posters, nvm. Got postcard also good liao...

According to Saimon-san from 98.8FM, TVXQ has been topping the charts for more than 10 weeks. If confirmed, the news will informed to SM & then reported in Korean news. Just to be sure, I went to the 98.8FM site to check out. They're not at the top of the chart but still staying strong in the top 10. I'm starting to doubt that DJ's statement but we'll see what happens. Someone will probably put the videos to the news if it's true.

Nyahaahha I'm currently the record holder as the fastest player in the word search game. Just in case y'all didn't know, Music Club is currently organising a music festival in college. The word search game is one of the exciting activities planned besides the Dance Dance Revolution game.

And so...I managed to complete the word search puzzle at 2:01. Yes, 2 mins 1 sec!! I beat the previous record holder by 1 min 20+ secs. *laughs hysterically* XD Lets see whether there's anyone who can beat my time. If not, I'll receive a Parker pen as the prize. Not too bad, eh? ^^.

The festival will end on Friday. Based on the feedback from the my friends in the committee, the response for the festival wasn't as good as expected. It's depressing but hopefully things will improve while the event lasts. I'll keep it short for today & get on with my assignments. *sighs* They're pilling up again like mountains...-_-"

I failed my HRM test... T.T

Give me a moment to regain my composure.

*runs off to the corner to weep*

I should've expected this since I didn't study much for it anyways. My last chance to do well is in Test 2. Sheesh, I lost mood to blog already. That's all for today. I've got lots of assignments to catch up. *drops dead*

Pardon me for the lack of updates. I've been quite busy and lazy at the same time XD. Anyways, I WAS SUPPOSED TO go to Lee Hom's concert last night. But I had no choice but let go the tickets offered by my aunt's company. It's a RM263 ticket!! T.T It's all thanks to the authorities insisting to close down Stadium Merdeka for restoration. What a last minute decision~ -_-" And due to that, the concert was postponed to a day later which falls on Chap Goh Mei. Speaking of coincidence, eh? I shouldn't be too upset anyway since Lee Hom is not my ultimate fandom BUT STILL...*slumps onto the floor in a depressing state*

What's even more depressing & nerve-wrecking is that I couldn't find a perfect laptop suit my requirements. Or should I say my desire. Either the unit is pretty powerful but enclosed with a ugly chassis design. And then a prettily designed one is only great because it looks good. Wait till I tell you about the worst part. Most shops, in fact most manufacturers are starting to phase out their units pre-installed with Windows XP. To me, they're like indirectly forcing customers to buy Vista units -_-". Vista is pretty buggy at the moment & I really don't have the guts to use it. *sighs* I should've bought a lappie earlier...

Well, at least this little souvenir from Japan managed to cheer me up a little. My aunt & cousin sis just came back from Chicago en route to Tokyo for a holiday. Gah! I'm so jealous~ I wanna go to Japan so badly T.T. Anyways, my aunt bought mochi for us to munch. Mochi tastes like marshmallow cuz of it's bouncy texture. There seem to be some sweet feelings inside too. Here's the pic.

Lovely wrapping, don't you think? ^^

Mochi~~ Kyaaaaa!!

P/S: I ordered Five in the Black & just paid for TVfXQ Malaysian FC membership fees. I'm such a big spender, ne? XD

I saw a really interesting documentary yesterday. It's How Did They Do It? on Discovery Channel which showcases various industries in certain countries & the processes involved. One of the segment was about manufacturing pencils & the company referred to was Faber-Castell *nudges Jen* XD. I wouldn't have known how pencils were made if the filming wasn't done. It was rather unusual to see how graphite is turned into lead, inserted in between 2 pieces of wood glued together, cut, shaped, paint & then finally sharpen before being packed. The best part is no single piece of wood is put to waste as it's fully utilised to make as much pencils as possible without any leftover bits. Speaking of efficiency & eco-friendliness, eh? ^^

I've got happy news for this week. First, I finally met up with my online friend whom I knew through the Dong Bang LJ comm. It was really nice of her to invite me over for CNY. You can say that we had an awesomely great time rattling & fangirling away like nobody's business XD. And she's more of an avid Dong Bang fan compared to me *envious*. I mean, look at her collections. Wow~ I was truly overwhelmed. Besides the fangirling part, I got an extra angpau too ^^. Secondly, she gave me an early birthday present & insisted that I opened it right away. Oh boy, you wouldn't believe what was inside the wrapper. This was what she gave me...

東方神起's Heart, Mind and Soul album!

A CD+DVD galore~ XD

Mind you, the album is a Japanese version which costs a whopping RM100++. Thank you sooo much, Enya! *bows* Now my next target would be the 2nd Japanese album due on March 14. Kyaaa...I really can't wait for it XD. The title is Five in the Black, ppl! Anyone care to give it to me as present?? Omg, I'm so demanding -_-". Just joking...I'm gonna get it myself. * runs off to pre-order*

Wednesday, February 21, 2007

Weeee!! I'm back, ppl! I'm back yo~ ^^ Kyaaaa...back to civilisation XD. Pardon me for being so exhilarated. Being a net addict myself, it's normal that I feel deprived for not able to surf the net for a few days. The trip was okay. Nothing much though cuz I didn't do anything special besides visiting relatives & collecting ang paus. Initially, I intended to catch a movie in the cinema with my sis. Perhaps Death Note 2: The Last Name or Ghost Rider if I could get tickets. But upon seeing the endless traffic jam in front of Jaya Jusco, I was immediately put off & went home instead.

Well, my days spent in Ipoh wasn't all that boring cuz I got the chance to lay my hands on my cuzzie bro's Nintendo Wii. It was hilarious playing games in that console as I got really worked up & sweating all the way. Half the time I was worried that my sweaty palms might lose grip of the wireless controller & send it flying towards the TV screen XD. Don't call me paranoid cuz it did happen to other gamers. Basically, the console is great for ppl like me who hates being under the sun. And I spared some time to watch my Goong dvd set. There wasn't much time left for assignments cuz I was already exhausted. And noisy kids were rather distracting -_-".

Dad decided to cut short the trip by a day earlier. I'm glad that he did cuz me & sis were getting really bored. Besides, coming home early is a good way to avoid the jam. Which means I have an extra day to work on drafts for assignments. I had plans with my group members to meet up on Friday. Yes, it's really sad to gather during hols for assignments. Sucks! Btw, I just found out the Rising Sun dvd concert came with this...

Now you see it...

Now you don't...

The photos were printed on a sorta semi-transparent film & will only reveal when a white paper is placed behind it. I don't think my pics show the difference well. Too bad -_-". The box cover is pretty cool though I didn't fancy the colour coordination that much. Love those high flying jumps ^^.

Forgive me for the poorly taken pics~

P/S: I seriously need a new digital camera...

Hip, hip hooray!! My package is finally here. Yes, FINALLY! After a long 3 weeks wait, it came yesterday evening. I didn't even realise the the package was here until I saw an unusual big brown box on top of the concrete wall at the gate. Haha, if only you could see how delighted I was. I was practically jumping, skipping & dancing all the way back into the house while clutching the box XD.

It should've arrived long ago but I ain't got any ideas why the post office kept hold of it. It was shipped on Jan 20 & was released by customs on Jan 24. And I only got it yesterday -_-". Without further delays, I quickly unwrapped the box. The dvd box design is fantastic as usual...just like the All About 東方神起. I couldn't contain my excitement & waited till everyone slept then only started watching it. I've already finished watching the concert but not disc 2 yet. The concert was awesome, just like the Malaysian one. A good way to refresh my memories of the concert last year. The only bad thing about this dvd concert is that the camera angles were pretty lousy. It's hard to explain unless you watch it for yourselves.

I shall keep this post short cuz I'm really sleepy right now. Most importantly, I would like to wish you all Happy Chinese New Year. I'll be on a hiatus for errr...4 days, I think. This means I won't be at home so don't expect to see me online. Of course, I'll try my best to stay connected cuz I still need to do my assignments. Yeah, it sucks big time to do projects in the midst of a celebration. Whatever it is...take care ppl! Will keep y'all posted asap ^^. Ciao!

Valentine's Day was just another ordinary day for me since I didn't have anyone special to celebrate with. I don't have many single friends who're willing to spare some time while one of them was busy hosting the CNY event. Besides, staying back after a 2 hour class just for the sake of commemorating couples' day is definitely a bad idea. At least that's what I thought so. I went home immediately cuz I needed some sleep. I'm deprived, as always -_-".

Though my family (known for being unromantic) didn't consider today as a hoo-haa day, I had some fair share of chocolates from my aunt. Not like I ate them anyway cuz they're too pretty to be eaten. Aunt told me the chocolates are freggin' sweet. Overly sweet stuff is awesomely bad...so all I did was admire it XD.

Seriously, who eats these chocolates??? I couldn't bring myself to take one & pop it into my mouth. What about you?

Monday, February 12, 2007

What do you do when you're the first to arrive & ended up sitting in a table dominated by couples? Basically, there's nothing much you can do except to sit & "stone" there. And most of the time I was dreading about staying on at the party while praying hard for my classmates to turn up soon enough.

The party wasn't bad, after all. It's just that...the couples will eventually talk among themselves leaving the singles behind. What's more, I'm not really close to those people which makes it even more difficult to engage in a conversation with them. Sad to say, I'm more of an introvert so don't blame me for not being able to socialise well. *sighs* I feel like a hopeless example of a Marketing student -_-".

The food wasn't great but decent & nice. There weren't much variety to choose from but considering the crowd that turned up, I supposed the food was more than sufficient. Besides, it's better not to have too much leftovers. I kinda liked the fried fish fillet minus the Thai flavouring on top it. After that, we had a toast of red wine & proceeded with several rounds of Twister game. I couldn't be bothered about playing cuz it's definitely a physical-stressed game. You'll be getting numbs all over the body when the game ends. Of course, I wouldn't wanna get involved. Excuse me! I got class tomorrow...who wants to attend college with sores from top to toe.

I have to say this...the cake was lovely. The name is Chocolate Indulgence from Secret Recipe. Hmm, I might consider getting this cake for my birthday XD. Finally, the party ended but I was the last to leave. People like me don't have a car to drive lah, that's why. And Dad has to come all the way from PJ to fetch me. Well, I'm glad that I got invited for the party. Gosh, I haven't been to parties for ages. When was the last time, neways? *scratches head*

edit: Wat the...?! My package still hasn't arrive yet T.T. It's been more than 2 weeks. Grrrr!!

------------------------------

I found another link to the PopJam fancam vid~ XD This vid shows more of the choreography though mainly focussed on Yunho.

More reasons to drool over the boys... *grins* Oh boy, how can I not buy the 3rd Japanese album which will release on March 14?? The CD+DVD has all their PVs from Rising Sun (Japanese version) to Choosey Lover. Definitely the perfect present for my 21st birthday. Anyone willing to buy for me? XD

[FANCAM] Choosey Lover PopJam performance

Management class on Thursday was a funny one for our gang. Somehow, we managed to cheat our way out & leave the class early. Jen already posted up an awesome write-up about the incident in her blog. I shall link it up for y'all to read. Take note of "The Rescuer" *rofl*.

Click the link below:
and we present...

P/S: I've got a birthday party to attend tomorrow! ^^

Grrr~ Pirated software annoys the hell out of me especially when the patch doesn't work at all. I bought an SPSS cd for only RM5. Stupid me for being so naive that cheap software would work with the given patch. After endless rounds of installing & unstalling, I couldn't crack that damn software to function properly. Lets just say it doesn't allow me to edit my output nor add text to it. *curses*

So I decided to borrow from my friend since his one works perfectly. It turned out to be...THE SAME!! OMG~ *dies* I seriously need the SPSS to practise T.T. I already gave up installing. Perhaps I'll try it later after reading my HRM notes. I'm supposed to start studying for next week's test. Yet I'm procrastinating -_-". Somebody pls smack me.

As I promised, I brought piccies ^^. And a link to Choosey Lover PopJam performance. The dance is super sexy XD. If only the fancam video is clearer. Who says fancams are crisps clear neways? And I see some Jaeho moments in there XD. Haha, it's actually about Jaejoong who almost bumped into Yunho during the performance. Jae touched Yunho lightly on the back just to notify him. I really can't wait for the PV to release. Meanwhile, enjoy the video ^^.

Goong DVD set

Shoes! ^^

Boo-hoo! I didn't cut my hair at all -_-". The salon was so crowded yesterday with customers waiting to get their hair washed, cut, permed, dyed & etc. I got fed up of waiting & decided to stop by at Jaya for lunch. After that, I returned to the salon again to check out. Seems like the crowd is never ending. Off I went to Digital Mall with sis while Mum went for her dance practice. Guess what I bought there...

I bought Goong dvd set!!! XD I know, I know. I'm crazy but I couldn't help downloading it anymore. The torrent wasn't working at all for the past few weeks. Just when Bittorent decides to function, the seeders had remove the video files due to copyright infringement. Dang! After all my patience of downloading & waiting, I still failed to complete the drama. *sighs* The good news is the dvd set is licensed & distributed by a local company. This means it's much cheaper than the original Korean set. Can you believe that my box set is sold at RM200++ in YesAsia while mine was only RM143.90 after discount? The transport cost is crazy!!

Earlier today, I went for CNY shopping at Mid Valley. Felt kinda surprised that I finished shopping all the clothes I want within 3 hours. Much shorter than I usually do ^^. I didn't have to hunt for any shoes this time cuz I bought one really cute pair at Jaya yesterday. Will be putting up pics soon. Just have to push myself to do it since I'm being a lazy ass lately. All thanks to the wonky Internet, I sorta lost interest in going online. And the fact that my PC gets hanged easily if I open more than 4 programs. Sad, rite?

Why my package hasn't arrive yet?? T.T I wanna watch the concert dvd so badly. And the piano book...can't wait to play Dong Bang songs on the piano. Mr. Postman, pls send deliver my package asap for God's sake. Don't you dare lose my package or I'll slaughter you. *sharpens parang*

One more assignment handed in today! ^^ And off I went home to prepare for tonight's outing. Yup, that's right. I was supposed to meet up with my ex-schoolmates in 1 Utama for an Italian meal. I know this isn't me to go out on weeknights. In fact, I don't go out with my friends at night. Not that I haven't done it before but it's rare. Going out for dinner just now was a once in a blue moon thing. What a way to celebrate after handing in my assignment, ne~ ^^

It was great to catch up with my old buddies. I haven't been seeing them for a year so I wouldn't wanna miss this opportunity. Besides, 2 of them are gonna return to Australia within this month. The minute I arrived, I saw 3 familiar faces except 2 guys. Each seating next to one of my friends. I'm pretty sure one of them is my best friend's bf while I assumed the other dude is just a guy friend tagging along. I didn't realise he is my friend's bf & have been dating for the past 6 months. The used-to-be tomboy had finally gotten herself a partner. Wow! I mean, I didn't expect it to be so soon. Seeing the two of them with their bfs definitely prove how time really flies. Everyone is a grown up now. Speaking of that, I'm turning 21 soon T.T

The meal was pretty good but extremely pricey. We ordered fried calamari for starters. It's a deep-fried white squid dish dipped in spicy spaghetti/pasta sauce for those of you who are ignorant about it. Then we ordered beef carbonara, fettucine (which tastes like carbonara too cuz it's equally cheesy) & a pizza. In the end, all of us were so stuffed till we could barely move. The highlight for the day was one of my buddies' birthday cake. I couldn't even finish my slice of cake & had to leave it there. I felt bad though but can't help it. I dun wanna risk exploding my stomach, y'know.

Somehow the dinner didn't turn out like I expected. While the other two were busy chattering with their bfs, the rest of us singles are chatting up ourselves. Not that I'm complaining much since I made a new friend. It's a pity that me & buddies didn't really get to chat like we used to. It should be a girls' outing in the first place but oh well...I'm not in the position to decide anything, am I? I wasn't talking much during dinner so it's awkward at times. I guess I deserve being left out considering what I've done in the past. Finally, the dinner ended at 10.30pm. For the first time, I left the shopping mall so late at night. I feel so liberal at that moment XD. Well not exactly cuz mum was shopping there during my outing. I mean, the feeling of going home late at night is unusual.

I told myself that I'll be getting a haircut tomorrow. I have to since my hair is incredibly long now. Look out for my new hairdo on Monday, ppl! ^^

I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the words came out from my lecturer's mouth. You wouldn't believe it, either. Wanna bet? Here's how the story goes. We were having our lab class that time & all of a sudden, the topic on thumbdrives came up. Yes, thumbdrives! As usual, she switched to a certain voice tone when she's about to give lessons on life. The lessons on thumbdrives, it was...
  1. Never access your files directly from your thumbdrive.
  2. Copy them to the hard disks first then only open the files.
  3. Save the files in the hard disks first after editing.
  4. Then copy your files back to the thumbdrive.
  5. Remember! The thumbdrive is only a storage device. Accessing files directly from the thumbdrive will inflict damage to it.

What the hell was that all about?! It's ridiculous, don't you think? Just because there're occasions where files can't be read, the lecturer develops a totally illogical theory. Helooo?? Flash drives are the best storage drives around. It's safe cuz it stores data really well without any spinning spindle. If thumbdrives still turn out wonky, it's most likely defective or it's not removed properly from the USB port; hence the data gets corrupted.

You know, some people still need to be reminded on how to remove a thumbdrive properly from the computer. How dumb can they get? I don't blame the computer illiterate people. But those who has been using thumbdrives all this while. Sorry about the outburst. I just couldn't stand what the lecturer said. Come to think of it, I don't think people are that dumb. Her ideas are plain stupid. It annoys the hell out of me -_-".

Thursday, January 25, 2007

My HRM assignment was handed in today. Hurrah for completing the 1st assignment of the semester in the new year! This assignment took me quite a while to do cuz it was tough finding sufficient journal articles concerning the same industry & country. Not to forget, the slight procrastination further delayed the completion time. I stayed up till 3am & decided to take about 4 hours of sleep before waking up early to type out the last 2 paragraphs. Just 2 paragraphs alone got me typing for an hour or so. Yes, I'm an inefficient worker -_-".

Nothing much happened in campus today. I'm probably unaware of any happenings around me cuz part of my brain is close to a shutdown. Hey, I only got 4 hours of sleep. What do ya expect? And I had classes till 6pm, dammit. Of all subjects, law was the last subject of the day. So you can imagine the tormenting moments of trying to stay alert whilst the lecturer rattles on, occasionally inserting random stuffs like, "What's your purpose in life?". Oh wait, that question was asked before lessons started. I thought, "Erm...is there any relation to law??".

I would like to point out a discovery based on me & Jen's observation. There's always the same question which never fail to pop out every lesson. "Sir, will this section/topic be coming out in the exam?" - one girl would ask. Today, one guy asked "Sir, is it going to be tested in the exam?". While Jen thought the questions were rather annoying, I thought those 2 people are making themselves look dumb. What's more, they're our seniors -_-". How immature can they get? Oh well, it's none of my business anyway...

Boo-hoo! I didn't win any tickets to Rain's concert T.T. Not so lucky this time *sighs*. My friend will be rocking on in a few hours time. So jealous~ She bought tickets, that's why. Anyways, I wonder why the venue was changed to Putra Stadium instead. It's still in Bukit Jalil but a much smaller one compared to the National Stadium. And the organisers added the pit zone tickets for sale at the last minute. Guess how much is it? RM1002!! Freaking expensive, what the hell?! Who on earth buys that?? Insane... #@%&$!

Monday, January 22, 2007

Hoorah for fast Internet comeback! Erm, relatively fast speed I would say. This is good news for Net addicts like me XD. So far the connection has been pretty good for today. I think the undersea cables are almost fully restored. But still, Bittorent ain't working yet. Grrr~ I'm dying to finish my drama downloads. Hmm lets see...I didn't do much during this weekend. I was supposed to be finishing at least 50% of the HRM assignment but oh well...-_-"

Can somebody stop me from drooling over this phone?? I NEED WANT this phone... *drools*

The scented Sony Ericsson SO703i cellphone

Yeah, the screen is a little too large for my liking but the phone is uber sexy XD. Clamshells are too awesome *spazzz*. Only available in Japan, as usual. Even if someone imports one to Malaysia, it won't work cuz it uses FOMA; not GSM. It's depressing that the phone is made by Sony Ericsson & yet it looks so much better than the SE's GSM phones. The product designers in Japan are really different compared to the ones who brought us Walkman or Cybershot phones. It is time the Walkman or Cybershot designers should emulate their Japanese counterparts.

I'm so envious of my friend in Osaka right now. All the sleek Japanese phones are only a short distance from her hands (that is, if she buys them). Okay, so this phone might cost her a bomb but she could easily get one with a similarly sleek design & cool function at a much cheaper price. Apparently, she has changed to SoftBank. I wonder how their designs look like. Hmm...

Wednesday, January 17, 2007

It's already Wednesday & my first HRM assignment is due next Monday. Yet, I haven't done any summaries told by my lecturer XD. Thank God I found more than 5 journal articles for my topic. It was a wise choice to change my topic after all ^^. And I've already booked the topic just in case anyone else might wanna do the same too. So now it's time for me to get my lazy ass working...

My friends & I were chatting about concerts today, for no apparent reason. Just random thoughts that popped up since there're many much anticipated concerts coming to our shores. What's more, this year is Visit Malaysia 2007. The feeling is much different compared to previous years. Speaking of concerts, there's only 1 week left before Rain stops in KL one-night show. I really wanna go so I'm praying hard that I'll win tickets. It doesn't really matter if I don't win but it would be great if I do, right?

Today was the 2nd time I wore my Dong Bang shirt & everyone thought it was some club's T-shirt. Lol...maybe I looked like a schoolgirl cuz I matched the shirt with a red tartan skirt. Believe or not, that skirt is almost 10 years old. Mum bought one each for my sis & I. Whilst my sis' one was given to my younger cousin, mine was kept in the closet for several years after I stopped wearing it. I'm glad it wasn't given away since it's pretty hard to find it stores nowadays. The skirt is vintage ^^. Now, I've decided to wear it again XD. It still fits me well though not as loose as before. The elastic has worn out but who cares...elastic are so out of fashion.

I'm one step closer to dressing like a Japanese schoolgirl XD. It's just that I'm still missing out on the perfect blouse. A shirt like the one below is awesome...

Actually, this outfit is meant for cosplay but it looks fine as a casual outfit. Don't you think so? Btw, there's a website selling it for USD53 directly importing it from Japan. That's daytime robbery! I already have a tartan skirt so all I need is a blouse similar to hers. In total, my outfit wouldn't cost me a bomb unlike this one. *sighs* Jap goods are never cheap...

P/S: Omg~ The tickets for TVXQ's 3-day concert in Seoul were sold out! I hope I'll be able to get KL's one. *prays*

Saturday, January 13, 2007

Kyaaa!! After spending endless hours on the Internet, I only managed to find 3 articles of the same industry & country for HRM341 assignment -_-". *sobs* Can somebody help me?? This assignment is due on Jan 23. Gosh...I'm starting to worry if I can finish in time. *scratches head* I hate this assignment~ Grrr!!

Anyways, I resort to watching 궁 (Goong) to ease my tired mind. Talking about being fangirly, the charming/cute guy is the reason behind my addiction to this drama. He's none other than Kim Jung Hoon who's got the killer looks & sweetest smile that will make girls melt XD. He's turning 27 this year, which is quite unbelievable for his boyish features. See for yourselves...

Kim Jung Hoon

I thought he looked like SE7EN & shared almost the same looks with Donghae from Super Junior. So far, he already released a Japanese mini album which is pretty good. Imho, he is by far one of the best Korean artistes who sings with good Japanese pronunciation considering his inability to speak Japanese at the time of debut. I think he should be able to make conversations by now. Why am I so ga-ga over him? Well, his dorky smile is priceless! He's a pro in showing his sheepish smile. He's such a natural~ I guess he's born with it. *swoons*

The best part is he's got a really sweet voice. Good looks + beautiful voice = Perfect! XD

I bet many Malaysians (especially girls) will be swooning over him when the drama is aired on 8TV. Heard that it'll start sometime this month. If the drama is subbed, it would be such a waste...meanwhile, I'll continue downloading the HD version with subs from mirror sites since Bittorrent ain't working at all. I wonder whether TM has decided to ban torrent downloads instead of bandwidth capping. Or it's just a temporary ban to free more bandwidths while waiting for undersea cables to be restored in Taiwan. Hmm...

Pretty boy~ ^^

Thursday, January 11, 2007

Hi everyone! I'm back ^^. As you can see, I haven't been blogging lately cuz I was pretty busy. Erm, I wouldn't say that I'm THAT occupied till there's no time for Internet at all. To be honest, I was plain lazy. And the fact that the workable yet still wonky Internet connection drives me away. All I did throughout the week was watching TV & helping out with some spring-cleaning.

So far, classes were okay. Only 2 classes are at the extreme level of my boredom level spectrum, Marketing & Statistics. Our dear Marketing lecturer enjoys sharing her "interesting" stories on her life at her previous workplace in China, in which to a certain extent annoys me to bits. Seventy percent of her lecture is dedicated to her stories while the remains are purely Marketing. See what I mean? I wouldn't mind if those tales are Marketing related as I would gladly sit through the 2 hours watching her rattling away. Sad to say, she sways way beyond our topic path & makes me wonder whether this is good news.

The master of Statistics however, never fails to put me to sleep. He's got a superb skill in casting sleeping spell, eh? A master, indeed XD. I managed to stay awake, though...for the sake of understanding the complicated decision tree topic he's currently teaching. And I understand pretty well. Not too bad, eh? ^^

Anyways, Rain will be staging a concert on Jan 27 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium. Since the tickets are insanely expensive (not comparable to Il Divo, though), I've decided to try my luck in the SMS contest again XD. You can say that I've been text-ing like mad with my ever-flowing amount of credit balances. I didn't care much about wasting my money on the contest cuz I can't seem to fully utilise my monthly credit. And it's starting to accumulate up to RM100 if I hadn't join the contest. If I don't win, it's okay cuz it's not the Dong Bang anyways...

Speaking of them, their 10th Japanese single Choosey Lover will be released on Mar 7. Gosh~ Their 9th single, Step by Step is not even out yet & the pre-orders for the new one are already available. Omg! And the 2nd album will be out on Mar 14. Woo-hoo! Definitely buying it for my birthday XD. Yeah, call me lame for buying my own birthday present. I might pester my sis to get it. If she's willing, that will be great as I already have plans for her surprise birthday gift. Ya know what? The Dong Bangs are planning for another Asian Tour & KL is the last stop!!! *spazzzzz* Which means I'm gonna pay for her concert ticket & bring her along~ ^^ Hopefully this would motivate her to study harder & do well in SPM. Of course I'm not telling her...so, shhhh!!

Perhaps this little treat will drive you all speechless & keep all your mind away before you can start rambling about the gift...

It's the new year!! It's 2007!! Happy New Year! 明けましておめでとうございます! 新年快樂! Selamat Tahun Baru! *throws confetti* I'm using so many different languages for the same greeting XD. The fireworks display looked awesome, right? Well, don't bother asking me about how the celebration was. I was having a countdown celebration at home. NOT! All I did was curled up on the couch & watch STARS WARS Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. Believe it or not, I didn't watch it in the theatres so I couldn't afford to miss it. What a way to usher new year...

Lets see...what a year it has been. There're good & bad times as usual. And I've changed a lot, I think. Hopefully for the better. I've realised that I've become an avid blogger. In the early days of my blog, I only had very few posts a month. Sometimes I don't even blog at all. Thanks to Jen, I blog whenever I have the chance cuz she most probably passed the blogging bug to me XD. Nevertheless, blogging is part of my life now. No, I won't wince or whine if I don't get to blog a day or two due to wonky Internet. It's not like blogging is a matter of life or death. Blogging just became a routine for me, that's all.

As usual, the start of a new year means making new resolutions. I've compiled a list which I hope to achieve as planned. Not that it'll work entirely but at least I have a reason to work hard. So here it is...

  1. Getting excellent grades throughout the year (hopefully...*prays*)
  2. To get a part-time job which provides both good experience & higher pay
  3. Buying a new mobile phone without using parents' money (quite difficult but hopefully...)
  4. To get a Compaq notebook ---> this more like an item in the wishlist XD
  5. Wishing everyone all well & in good health *prays*
Lets rejoice & hope for the best throughout the year. Peace out!
