Ahhh, I finally bought a new power adapter for my lappie. The joy of using my beloved lappie again after being deprived for 2 weeks is heaven! *hugs lappie* Ya know, I was very unlucky cuz the adapter that came with the lappie upon purchase was zapped by lightning. Thank God my sis unplugged the lappie before the incident happened. If not, I would've been devastated.

This is random. My grandma was admitted to the hospital few hrs ago. Why? She fell off the bed while sitting down & sewing a button on her blouse; then broke her right wrist. She was supposed to attend a wedding dinner tonight with Grandpa but in the end, my Dad & cousin bro went instead. *sighs* Unexpected things just happen beyond our control, eh?

OMG! Who would've ever thought that Bearbrick is available in Malaysia?? Unless I'm a frog under the coconut shell, this is a hard-to-get toy in my country. Oh well, I'll admit that I haven't been out to the mall for the past 2 months & obviously didn't know about toy shops stocking up on Bearbricks. So it's true, according to one of the dudes I'm acquainted to. My bad for being un-knowledgeable.

If it wasn't the business fair held recently, I wouldn't have known. Here's a little info about the business fair. Students who took this subject (including my bunch of guy friends) were required to set up a booth to sell stuff for 2 days; which is part of their final year project. In case you didn't know, I ended up helping the dudes to set up though I didn't take up that subject. Guys, you seriously should thank me & Jen for the never-ending support XD.

Okay, here's the thing. This dude I mentioned earlier decided to sell Bearbricks, new & old shoes for his stall. I was utterly shocked when I stopped by his stall to kepoh a while. Along came the squeals & spazzing, expressing how surprised I was that I got to witness this little toys with my very own eyes. I could still remember the last time I saw it on the mu-mo site showing a-nation '06 x Bearbrick collab. Definitely not available in Malaysia. Told myself that I have to own at least one of it.

Without any hesitation, I bought one doctor-themed figure & another orange one the following day. One each for me & my sis. Paying RM10 for a toy sounds insane, don't you think? No doubt it is but c'mon...being part of a Jap craze sounds awesomely cool. I'd always love anything to do with Japanese pop culture. Do look up on the web about Bearbrick cuz this toy brand is pretty unique in a way that its range of designs are joint collabs with other famous brands.

Looking at the box without opening it makes me squee~ XD

For once, plastic toys seemed so cool...

♪ Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me ♪ *sings*

I just turned 22. I'm so old -_-". Only 2 days ago I told myself that I'm still 21 years old. See how one day can change your age...*sighs*

Anyways, my dear 'lil sis bought me a birthday cake & had a mini party together with my cousin bro. Gosh~ I can't remember the last time I blew a candle of a cake. If only you could see how thrilled I was when I was told about it after dinner. So called adult, eh? XD

The cake looks good & tastes pretty good too. For a RM20+ cake, I didn't expect much. I guess it's the thought that counts eh?

Of course, the cake has to have a birthday girl too!

Geez, I looked like a sloppy aunt in rags -_-". Anyways, few of my buddies gave pressies~ Whee! Thank you guys for all the gifts. I really appreciate it. I think pressies are not important. As long as you guys remember my bday. Perhaps this would be the last time I celebrate with y'all as we won't be seeing each other so often next year. Omg, I'm making this so mushy. Oh well, as long as we still keep in touch then it would still be as fun right? XD

I believe that some of you may have known that I took a bold step to participate in a competition. A competition that I myself know very well that I never excelled in. I was nervous & constantly cursing about how idiotic I was to sign up for such a challenge. What's more, assignments datelines are drawing near each day & yet there was so much to prepare. Prior to D-day, I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride with a full stomach. Knowing that my very talented buddies are competing did not make my worries go away.

After the 1st round, I kept my fingers crossed & silently pleading to God Almighty that I won't qualify for the next round. You read it right. I wanted to LOSE so badly. Surely you'll think who would pray to lose. Going through the ordeal of preparing a good speech & at the same time keeping up with assignment datelines is treacherous. I'd rather chicken out. When I received an email about the results, I was so relieved! It was like a huge rock was lifted off my shoulders.

Though I failed but I had no regrets at all. I joined for the sake of getting a certificate. After all, my heart was not in the competition especially when there're other priorities to be fulfilled. Thanks you guys for turning up to support & good luck to buddies who made it to the 2nd round. You know who you are~ ^^
