TA-DAA! *drum roll* I've got the tickets!! I'm going to Beauty & the Beast musical this Sunday~ ^^ Alone but I'm happy XD. Can't wait, can't wait. Heard that the show was really good. To those peeps who didn't have the chance to go, don't worry. I'll promise to share with you the exciting experience. Passing by the doors leading to Plenary Hall made my heart skipped a beat. The hall looked so grand in the pics & to actually walk through these doors to the hall this weekend gives me great feelings. I'm looking forward to a fantastic matinee show ^^. Will be back for more news.

Vandalism = Sucks!

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

It irks me a lot to see students acting like some bunch of uncivilised idiots & vandalising college property. Especially when they are supposed to be highly looked upon and expected to set an example to the society by knowing how to respect others' property & not abusing it. What's the point of being so highly educated when they can't even be morally socially responsible?

The table where I usually sit at for my Monday lab class spotted some scribblings of God-knows-who names. It reminded me of the good 'ol days in school where we used to doodle names & drew fugly pics of each other. The desks were old so there weren't much different if a few more scribblings were added on. However, those tables in the lab class are brand new. For God's sake, why ruin it??

I won't deny the fact that we used to conteng our desks in school but we were young then. We needed space to express our creativity. As I grew older, I realised that those scribblings were total eyesores cuz it made tables & chairs looked horribly vandalised. Not to mention the school authorities forking out money to ensure that we have a conducive study environment. I wasn't the one who likes to scribble on desks with pen or liquid paper, to begin with. How can you justify a 20-year old student who doesn't even know how to control his behaviour & refrain from vandalising public property? Even a small kid can be cultivated to behave. It's embarrassing that these things happen in my college...

New Korean boyband in town

Sunday, June 22, 2008

I hate to admit it but I'm pretty much addicted to this song by SM's new boyband, SHINee. The band comprises 5 members aged between 14-18 years old. Their style is more R&B influenced hence being labelled by many as "another Big Bang" group. *shrugs* I'm not really into them especially when they're not so appealing in terms of looks. They're so young that it makes them look so juvenile. And them singing about how older girls are so pretty is another tactic by SM to target the older fangirls who with higher purchasing power. Nevertheless, be prepared to be charmed by their voices though cuz I'm amazed that they have good vocals, to the extend better than some of the Dong Bang's. They sing live very well too! ^^ Check it out & enjoy~

Malaysia banned

Thursday, June 19, 2008

Seeing the message below came as a surprise for me. I really didn't expect Malaysia would enter the list of banned countries. The webmasters made our country sound like a nation of criminals. Haha.

Not that I'm a frequent user of Veoh, but this banning decision was rather unfair. Blocking one country's access to the site due to lack of user concentration is utter nonsense. Does the company actually save that much costs from reducing bandwidth just to accomodate the users from selected countries, leaving the banned ones deprived of the privilege? What's ironic is that the selected countries are of heavy users. With that insane heavy traffic & enormous amont of videos uploaded to the site, wouldn't it make sense to have more bandwidth?

Having said on the lack of user concentration, what's the probablity that Malaysian users would clog up the bandwidth? And this applies to the rest of the countries also restricted from accessing Veoh. I mean, what kind of logic is this? Veoh has made the dumbest decision this time as they're driving away all their users to YouTube. What a better way to encourage your loyal users to switch to competitors! LOL.

Go or no go?

Sunday, June 15, 2008

I've been gushing over for more than a month for the fact that this musical is coming to town (pic below). Who would wanna miss the opportunity to watch the all-time favourite Disney classic in live action? I grew up watching this animated movie & still loves it till now. It's not that I can't afford the cheaper tickets but I just can't bring myself to buy it. Perhaps my love for this movie still can't surpass Dong Bang love eh? XD.

The show will open in about a week. I'm still contemplating. Should I go with a friend...or not? Alone, maybe. *shrugs* I wonder if Mum is interested to go. Hmm. My sis is kinda broke lately, hence she's out of the question. Gah~ Many ppl I know who might be interested to go are broke...then who else would go with me? -_-. No one.

The answer = Alone.

Cracker-like ink cartridge

Even a simple printing cartridge reminds me of food. o.O

Don't you think these pics below resemble cream crackers wrapped in aluminium wrapper. Something like the Jacob ones. Does it ring a bell?

Emotional breakdown

Thursday, June 05, 2008

Pardon me for the lack of updates lately. I haven't been feeling well for the entire week. I had an emotional breakdown as I finally couldn't hold on to my anger & depression anymore. One of my assignment group members turned out to be the victim of my sudden outburst. Can't exactly say that it's my fault for using him to release my anger cuz that fella was a bastard anyway. Having him in the group was a pain in the ass.

Not turning up for class, slacking when I gave him his part for the assignment, accusing me of not guiding him cuz he didn't know how to do when he was actually relying me on giving him all the research information & then refusing to accept his mistakes in the assignment when being told. Worse, telling a big fat lie that he showed his work to the lecturer when he only asked her questions. Ass!

And now that we finally kicked him out, he texted me on the phone & threatened me. WTF. Geez. Cunning bastard that knows no shame. Lets just hope that he doesn't bother me in class next week. I deleted & blocked his MSN so that I won't lay eyes on him again. Come to think of it, I've never taken such drastic action to the one person that I'm still upset with & hate as well. LOL. It's just that...some part of me still wants to care for that person even if my compassion is not appreciated. He wasn't as cunning as that bastard, perhaps. Teehee!

Indeed, falling sick made me realise many things. It clearly showed me which group of friends I know are true friends. I could pinpoint which individual who would take a few seconds to ask about me. And that one person I'm hoping would ask was pretending to be ignorant. I supposed there's no need for further explanation. Hence, I shall break free from all that misery from now on. I dun give an effing damn about anything now. It's all over. I'm happy ^^.
